I agree 100% that brain decline is a result of several factors and unfortunately many people do not realize that eating a diet high in refined and processed products is not what will feed the brain or the body for that matter. Like you said, the nutrients mentioned in addition to eating a primarily whole food diet that includes healthy fats and carbohydrates are what is going to keep the brain young, functioning and pliable.
