Recipe: Berry Green Superfood Smoothie
Don’t let the color scare you! This superfood smoothie is as delicious as it is nutritious. It packs an incredible array of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and healthy fats in every sip. I’ve found that nutrient-dense superfood smoothies like this one are great way to start the day.
Makes one 20 oz. serving.
Ingredients:
1 c. fresh or frozen berries (My favorites are açai, blueberries and strawberries.)
2 T. green powder (like Stop Aging Now Super Green Foods)
2 handfuls fresh greens (spinach, parsley, kale, etc.)
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 T. goji berries (optional)
1 tsp. bee pollen (optional)
1 T. fresh aloe (optional)
pinch of sea salt
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. If you want a cold smoothie, add ½ c. ice and blend on high for another 15-30 seconds.
3. Pour into a large glass or into a thermos to take with you for a power breakfast on the go.

Why go so easy on the aloe vera? Don’t go optional with that ingredient, and do go large! Check out the benefits of consuming aloe vera: http://www.naturalnews.com/021858.htmlnIn fact, aloe vera is so potent, it cures cancer: http://www.naturalnews.com/028239_aloe_vera_FDA.htmlnOf course such healing was aggressively suppressed to protect pharmaceutical profits. I have seen first hand where aloe vera cleared out tumors that flourished under chemotherapy.
I’m with you! Aloe has amazing healing properties. I also think it’s delicious in smoothies.
The color is like a cola, and I like fresh berry smoothies on the go it tastes really refreshing served cold. It’s amazing of what minerals and vitamins you got when you do fresh smoothies.
